Chief Enrollment Officers Forum (CHIEF) Pre-Conference Session: Post-Covid Recruitment and Enrollment

Colleges and universities are working to respond to the needs of the Covid generation. Understanding who is in the pipeline and changing student behaviors is critical to leading your institution’s recruitment and enrollment efforts, and readying and positioning your institution to meet student needs and expectations once they enroll. This session will provide attendees with core understanding of who our colleges and universities are and will next be educating and provide you with a framework to leverage this information in your recruitment and enrollment planning.

Presenter: Peter Farrell, Founding Principal, MARKETview; Rachelle Hernandez, Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Johns Hopkins University

Thursday, September 21
8:30 – 10:00 a.m.

The State of Catholic Higher Education

Leveraging proprietary student-level data, MARKETview Education Partners will provide an assessment of the future landscape for Catholic higher education, highlighting current trends for the Entering Classes of 2024 and 2025 both across Catholic institutions and among Catholic students. This data-focused portion of the session is intended to be the beginning of CCAA’s ongoing research collaboration with MARKETview. Following this discussion, enrollment leaders from a diverse set of campuses will share a variety of strategies that have allowed them to advance their unique mission, often while balancing competing priorities. Between the data-driven conversations about the state of Catholic higher education and the innovative strategies from the panel, you’ll return to campus with renewed enthusiasm and actionable insights. We look forward to learning more about your specific questions on this critical topic.

Presenters: Corry Unis, Vice President for Enrollment Management, Fairfield University; Mike Marshall, Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing and Communication, Bellarmine University; Joe Dacey, Principal, MARKETview; Alex White, Founding Partner, Business Development, MARKETview; Sarah Richardson, Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, Director of Admissions and Scholarships, Creighton University
