HIRED! Walker Campbell

MARKETview has announced Walker Campbell will be joining the team as a Data Analyst. Prior to joining MARKETview, Walker graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Economics and a minor in English. While he was a student at UR, he worked for three years as a Writing Consultant in the University’s Writing Center. He worked shifts in the Center offering trained assistance and review of student works on topics such as structure, grammar, syntax, argumentation, clarity, and more. While in this role, he learned a lot about how to do a carefully detailed review of content, as well as how to best communicate recommendations with his peers. Walker also spent many summers before and during his time at UR working as a summer camp counselor. His time there really emphasized so many things like organization and teamwork for the first time in a professional setting. The emphasis on person-to-person interaction while working on projects that he was able to take away from those experiences is something he’s excited to bring to the field of Higher Education.

Walker is friendly, consistent, and down-to-earth. He always tries to be someone other people feel comfortable being themselves around. He enjoys being in environments where he knows there are things he is unfamiliar with that he can learn more about.

“I try to always bring a sense of enthusiasm to the things I do and am a part of, and try to bring that same energy to the people around me,” he said.

“I’m really excited to join the team here at MARKETview for the combination of important work and meaningful interactions,” he said. “The field of Higher Education is always experiencing new developments and the prospect of approaching those challenges in a cooperative and supportive environment is so exciting.”
