John Nester is the Founder and CEO of MARKETview. Building on his experience as a leader in higher education, he founded MARKETview to improve access and outcomes for schools by harnessing a proprietary combination of data, context, and expertise.
Prior to founding MARKETview, he was the President and CEO of Royall & Company (acquired by EAB in 2015). At Royall & Company, he expanded their footprint and offerings to support the success of a diverse group of institutions in reaching their enrollment, financial aid, advancement, and operational goals. Before joining Royall & Company, John held several senior roles in the finance and health technology sectors. He also serves as an investor and board member for a number of EdTech organizations.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Richmond and an MBA from George Washington University. In 2015 he was awarded Executive of the Year from the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.
